Mechanochemical synthesis of dodecyl sulfate anion (DS−) intercalated Cu-Al layered double hydroxide

Dodecyl sulfate anion (DS⁻) was successfully intercalated into the gallery space of Cu-Al layered double hydroxides (LDH) by a non-heating mechanochemical route, in which basic cupric carbonate (Cu₂(OH)₂CO₃) and aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)₃) were first dry ground and then agitated in SDS solution under ambient environment. The organics modified Cu-Al LDH showed good adsorption ability toward 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2, 4-D). The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), CHS elemental analysis and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The LDH precursor prepared by ball-milling could directly react with SDS molecules forming a pure phase of DS⁻ pillared Cu-Al LDH, which was not observed with the LDH product through the ion-exchange of DS⁻ at room temperature. The process introduced here may be applied to manufacture other types of organic modified composites for pollutants removal and other applications.     

Thioether‐derived Macrocycle for Peptide Secondary Structure Fixation

Recently, we developed methods to stabilize peptides into various secondary structures, including α‐helix, type III turn and β‐hairpin via proper thioether based macrocyclization. These conformationally constrained peptidomimetics confer enhanced biophysical properties and provide a valuable avenue towards clinically‐relevant therapeutic molecules. In this personal account, thioether‐derived macrocyclization methods developed by our group for stabilization of α‐helix, type‐III β turn and β‐hairpin conformations are discussed.     

Study on convergence and error of a numerical method for solving systems of nonlinear Fredholm–Volterra integral equations of Hammerstein type

The aim of this paper is to present an efficient analytical and numerical procedure for solving systems of nonlinear Fredholm–Volterra integral equations of the Hammerstein type with the aid of fixed point techniques and the usual Schauder basis in an adequate Banach space.     

Bogdanov‐Takens bifurcations of codimensions 2 and 3 in a Leslie‐Gower predator‐prey model with Michaelis‐Menten–type prey harvesting

The Bogdanov‐Takens bifurcations of a Leslie‐Gower predator‐prey model with Michaelis‐Menten–type prey harvesting were studied. In the paper “Diff. Equ. Dyn. Syst. 20(2012), 339‐366,” Gupta et al proved that the Leslie‐Gower predator‐prey model with Michaelis‐Menten–type prey harvesting has rich dynamics. Some equilibria of codimension 1 and their bifurcations were discussed. In this paper, we find that the model has an equilibrium of codimensions 2 and 3. We also prove analytically that the model undergoes Bogdanov‐Takens bifurcations (cusp cases) of codimensions 2 and 3. Hence, the model can have 2 limit cycles, coexistence of a stable homoclinic loop and an unstable limit cycle, supercritical and subcritical Hopf bifurcations, and homoclinic bifurcation of codimension 1 as the values of parameters vary. Moreover, several numerical simulations are conducted to illustrate the validity of our results.

不同权的Bloch型空间之间的加权复合算子再刻画

本文研究了单位圆中从空间β_L到β_α的加权复合算子uC_φ为有界算子和紧算子的条件.利用阶估计等方法,获得了有界性和紧性的简捷充要条件,推广了叶善力的相应结果.     

聚集数据线性模型广义聚集双参数估计的相对效率

对于聚集数据的线性模型,提出了广义聚集双参数估计的概念,给出了广义聚集双参数估计的两种相对效率,并得到了这两种相对效率的上界.     

城镇职工养老保险随机模型研究

构建了包含个人、企业、政府等市场参与者相互制衡的城镇职工养老保险随机模型,该模型涉及了储蓄、工作期消费、个人养老金账户、工资、退休后消费共5个随机变量;利用ITo引理证明了随机微分方程解的存在性,唯一性,利用2010-2014年中国有关宏观数据,对5个变量进行了动态模拟,并对部分参数变动对模型的影响进行分析,得出了储蓄替代率和人口出生率与两期消费正相关,两者的小范围变动不会影响两期消费的趋势等结论.     

浅析几类双输入排队系统模型

从矩阵几何解的角度出发,分析了七种类型的Geom/Geom/(Geom/Geom)/H 双输入排队系统.对这几个模型进行了描述,使用拟生灭过程探讨了各类模型的矩阵结构,并给出了其状态转移概率矩阵.
